The policy was also regarded as a barrier to entry for some emerging artists. However, the policy drew criticism for being vague and seeming to only target Black men who had not yet been convicted of any crimes. Data from an internal newsletter obtained by Business Insider last year showed that The Joe Rogan Experience accounted for 4.5% of all podcast listening in September 2020, with users spending 14.9 million hours total listening to the show in that month. In Spotify’s first year hosting podcasts, Rogan’s show was crowned the No. Up to now, the deal to distribute The Joe Rogan Experience appeared to prove its worth to the audio brand. As more platforms seek to differentiate themselves by offering bespoke content, Spotify’s apprehension over its role as a publisher is the start of a wider tech provider identity crisis. “From the moment they decide to be more than a distribution channel, inexorably, they will be charged as responsible for the content.”Īs the sole partner for The Joe Rogan Experience, which reaches 11 million subscribers, Spotify is viewed as uniquely responsible for that content. “They will need to redefine their value proposition for the artistic community and listeners: Is Spotify a distribution channel, a publisher or a content creator?” said Daniella Bianchi, executive director of branding consultancy Interbrand.

Fixed bug which caused a ‘Stopped Responding’ error when loaded on a computer without Visual PowerPack installed.Version 1.5.3 Changes (24th November 2015) Fixed bug which caused incorrect detection of the installed Office architecture (x86/圆4).The current version is 1.5.4 and can be downloaded here:ĭownload “Cleanup Conversations” CleanupConversations-v1.5.4.zip – Downloaded 2122 times – 24 KB The target framework was set wrong, so actually required. My apologies to anyone who downloaded the original release. It does not matter if this mail profile is not the default, the tool will search for Conversation History folders in all of the configured mail profiles. The computer that you run this tool on must have Microsoft Outlook 2010 or newer installed and be configured with a mail profile that contains the Conversation History folder. Messages are then moved to the Deleted Items folder for you to review if you wish and then delete later. This tool looks through all of the messages in the folder, and removes messages that are part of the same conversation. This means that when you run the Outlook Cleanup Conversations command, no messages will be removed from the folder. Unfortunately the way the conversation is saved in Outlook does not save the messages in an Outlook conversation thread. When you have a conversation in Microsoft Lync (now called Skype for Business), depending on your configured options, the conversation is automatically saved at regular intervals into your Microsoft Outlook message store. The worst part about the history, was that there was a large amount of duplication. This program came out of a discovery that my bulging mailbox was being used up by lots of Microsoft Lync Conversation History.
